![]() ![]() Last but not least, control response does not "lag" the same way as it does in WoWP mouse aim because you directly control aircraft movement, not some potentially *modable* AI. on the other hand, if you are using the third-person camera in YS Flight you always know where your aircraft is relative to the vertical and horizontal planes (and where your gun is pointed) because the camera is fixed to the rear of the aircraft. It has very simple yet realistic controls, where the mouse controls a "vertual joystick" this means that while vertical movement is similar to what is currently in-game, horizontal movement rolls the plane, preventing the instaturns you see in WoWP. There is a game out there called YS Flight, been out since 1990's, and it's been programed/built by one person (as near as I can tell). This is somthing else I have been grumbling about for awhile. This is because the mouse points at the target and the aiming reticule moves to it via AI aircraft control where JS has to maneuver the aircraft/reticule onto the target. Of course this does throw up the Mouse/KB vs Joystick issue. ![]()
